Saint Philomena 2nd Class Ex Indumentis Relics
The 2nd class relics are pieces of the Ex Indumenctis which have been taken from the first vest which has been on St. Philomena's Sacred Body and Relics for 50 years. Every 50 years and only, the sacred urn of Saint Philomena containing her sacred remains is opened for the reconnaissance, with the presence of a special committee nominated by the Bishop of our Diocese of Nola. During the procedure of this very delicate and special event, the Urn and remains are cleaned and redressed, changing the first vest on her Sacred Body. The vest which is taken off is what the 2nd class relics are made from. Please note that the price of the relics is not for the Relic it self but for the medal, card or holder that contains the precious Relic.

only covers the actual cost of the holder and shipping costs,
and not for the inside 2nd Class Relic, Â
that is given as a gift for each devotees private veneration.
